Activities 19/05-24/05

Although the bad weather that has been forecasted for this week, we won’t stop eating ice-cream, watching films or trying hand-made paella. And at the end of the week you can go to Santander with Viamar Company or celebrate the summer arrival with Tia Tula.                                                   
Monday 19, 18.00 - Garden of “Calixto and Melibea”. Get to know the story of the Garden of Salamanca and enjoy its fantastic views.

Location: Tia Tula. Duration: 1h.
Tuesday 20, 19.45 -”Devil in a Blue Dress” (1995) by Carl Franklin. Cycle "Black Cinema" at the Lyceum Theatre. In OV with Spanish subtitles. 
Price: € 1.20
Meeting point: Tia Tula. Movie length: 102min.

Wednesday 21, 17.30 -  ICE-CREAM + MUSEUM OF FLOUR. 
We will buy an ice cream at the famous ice-cream café “Novelty”. Then we’re going to see the old mill of the nineteenth century (near the river) where you can see ancient machines for making flour.
Price: only your ice-cream

Thursday 22, 19.00 - COOKING CLASS.
Paella + 1 Tapa
We’ll go to watch how to make a Paella and you're going to learn to do tapas and then eat them.
Price: 6 €

Friday 23, 19.00- Party.
We’ll make a celebration party on the occasion of arrival the warm weather in Tia Tula. Karaoke and snacks with Sangria will wait for you.

Saturday 24,-EXCURSION. 
We’re going to SANTANDER with Viamar company.
You must sign before Thursday 22, of May.

Remember to sign up for the activity at the reception beforehand (the minimum number of people needed for each activity is 3). If the cost is not stated then the activity is free. We recommend that our students participate in the activities so they can get to know other students in the school, so they can broaden their knowledge of Spanish culture and to practice and improve their Spanish in a fun way.
